I own over 300 Webkinz. I have only adopted 26 online. I am sick of Ganz, the way they treat us customers and their inability to support any new online additions they implement on Webkinz World online. Shining Stars dolls are much cuter than Webkinz dolls. Shining Stars are of a better quality, materials and construction. They are softer and have friendlier faces. I only own one Shining Star, a blue dragon. Webkinz World online is more fun than Shining Stars online...WHEN IT ACTUALLY WORKS! I am considering selling all of my excess Webkinz doll stock on ebay, because I'm so completely sick of all the Webkinz World glitches and HORRIBLE customer service. If I do I don't think I'll switch to Shining Stars though. I'm really sick of the whole thing. Ganz doesn't care about treating their loyal core clients well and they don't consider the feeling of the young children (like my 3 year old) when something goes wrong, doesn't work or disappears, and some insensitive customer service rep refuses to help. Go to webkinzinsider.com to see how unhappy Webkinz users are. The forum section is littered with Webkinz user unhappiness. 5 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you? |

Webkinz are way better! Yes WebkinzWorld has glitches but I've had very good experiences with customer service (I guess I'm just luck I haven't had an major problems, I just end up with a lot of stuck things).

Yay for Shining Stars! They are cuter softer, and more lovable than webkinz.. Webkinz, are just pokey and pikey thread. They are not cute. And the website takes forever to load.

The glitches in WW, well, they are expected. They update the website ALL THE TIME, so the glitches and stuck items are only natural!
